MEET OUR PROVIDERS

Geronimo Mendoza, MD, is a board certified Pediatrician. He focuses on health promotion and disease prevention. He also enjoys taking care of the common illnesses afflicting children as well as chronic medical problems, complex illnesses, special needs and mental health problems.

John MacFarlane, MD, is a board certified pediatrician. He specializes in the care of acute and chronically ill newborns and infants. He also specializes in the diagnosis of children with behavioral difficulties, including autism and the entire spectrum of learning disabilities. Dr. MacFarlane has experience in the evaluation of patients who have an elusive diagnosis.

Renee Friday, MD, is a board certified Pediatrician with 30 years of experience in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She attended medical school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and subsequently earned a Master’s degree in public health in Pittsburgh, and completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Virginia. She served in the United States Army for 12 years. She enjoys taking care of common illnesses, cardiac concerns, chronic medical problems, and special needs children. She has always taken an active role in supervising and instructing medical students, residents in pediatrics and family medicine, as well as nurse practitioners.

Joan Bryant, DO, is a board certified General Pediatrician. She joins the Pediatrics clinic from El Paso, Texas and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California San Diego, her DO at the A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri.
She completed both her internship and residency in Pediatrics at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington as an active duty army officer. She served in the United States Army for over 10 years.
Dr. Bryant has 5 years of practice as a pediatrician.

Amber Quiñones, MD, is a New Mexico native, born and raised in Las Cruces. She is excited to now serve the communities of Southern NM. She brings her experience of caring for well and sick children both in the primary care and acute setting from training at a well-recognized and awarded Children’s Hospital in the Southwest.
Dr. Quiñones specializes in the health and well-being of all ages from newborn to 18. Dr. Quiñones completed her residency in Pediatric Medicine, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Phoenix, AZ. She received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Quiñones looks forward to providing the infants, children, and teenagers of New Mexico the best health care.
Outside of the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, admiring the mountain scenery, and exploring new foods and cultures.
