
The Fracture Liaison Service is a care coordinated, multispecialty service championed by Orthopaedic Surgery. Our liasions utilize the support of local health care providers as well as Champion Orthopaedics to coordinate with your primary care physician to improve your quality of bone health and clinical outcome.
FLS works with your primary care physician and specialists to provide the following care:
- Identify those at risk for falls
- Osteoporosis
- Osteopenia
- Blood work to evaluate bone health
- Medication management
- Specialized fall risk exercises and programs
- Referrals to Physical Therapy and Specialists
- Diet, exercise, and supplement recommendations
- Bone Density Scan orders
OUR PROVIDER

Dayna Pridgen, CNP, was a hospital nurse for 6 years before becoming a nurse practitioner. She has now been a nurse practitioner for 8 years and specializes in family practice but has worked in other departments as well. Dayna has previous experience in family practice, urgent care, emergency department, osteoporosis management, and occupational health.
