We are expecting our ACGME approval in October of 2018.  The program is projected to have 3 residents per year for a complement of 9.  After receiving ACGME approval, we will be accepting applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). The selection process will begin upon receiving complete applications. It is at the discretion of the Resident Selection Committee to grant interview for applicants. Interviews will be scheduled from November through February.

Application Requirements

A completed ERAS application.

  1. Official Graduate and Medical School Transcripts
  2. All official test transcripts for all applicable examinations. (USMLE, COMLEX, NBOME, FMGEMS, Flex of NBME)
  3. Dean’s Letter
  4. Curriculum Vitae
  5. Personal Statement
  6. Valid ECFMG certification (If you are a graduate of a medical school outside of the United States or Canada)
  7. Three letters of recommendation (One from a Family Medicine Rotation)

Travel/Accommodations:

Applicants that are granted an interview will receive local hotel accommodations the day before their interview.  If you prefer to come early, a GCRMC discount is available at the Fairfield Inn.

Visa and Sponsor Information:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States in order to be employed by our organization.  If you require employer sponsorship for a visa status, you are required to communicate this during the interview process.  For more information about which Visa’s our organization will sponsor contact Shawnette Alford at salford@gcrmc.org.
