Dr. Divya Koduri is a PGY-2 Family Medicine Resident at CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico Family Medicine. She was raised in a small town in Massachusetts for most of her life. She attended medical school in rural India at NRI Medical College. She is the first person in her family to become a physician.
Dr. Koduri became interested in family medicine during her last year of medical school when she found that she wanted to continue taking care of people of all ages and with various needs. Dr. Koduri is looking forward to continue learning about how to practice medicine with all of its particular challenges in a rural setting.
Dr. Koduri enjoys reading, baking, gardening, and camping in her spare time. Dr. Koduri is excited to begin her new journey in Alamogordo after moving from a different environment in Massachusetts. She is looking forward to being able to spend many hours hiking outdoors, particularly White Sands, and becoming a part of her community in Alamogordo.
