Wholesome, nourishing, and well-balanced meals are an important part of your treatment and recovery. CHRISTUS Health makes every effort to provide nutritious meals that are prepared according to your doctor’s orders.
Patients are served breakfast between 7:30 and 8 a.m., lunch between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m., and dinner between 4:30 and 5 p.m. Occasionally, your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test.
Patients will be provided a daily menu each day. If you do not want anything from the daily menu, patients may choose items from the alternate menu. Please call ext. 7452 with any changes at least two hours before your scheduled meal.
Guest Trays
If a family member or friend wants to eat in your room with you, the person may go to the cafeteria, buy a meal there, and take it back to your room. If the person does not want to go to the cafeteria, a guest meal tray can be delivered to your room.
Cafeteria
The cafeteria is open Monday to Friday.
- Breakfast hours are 6:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
- Lunch hours are 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday hours are 6:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Menu options for the weekend are chef’s choice.
Visitors are welcome to eat in the cafeteria anytime it is open.

Bistros
Bistro hours are:
- Monday to Friday 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Pavilion bistro hours are:
- Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Fridays 8:00 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Vending Machines
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located off the medical mall near the gift shop and outside the emergency waiting room. They are available 24 hours a day.
