Joanna Rachelson, MD

Joanna Rachelson was born and raised in beautiful Taos, New Mexico. After high school she attended the University of San Francisco and received her BA in Comparative Literature with a minor in Sociology. She decided to pursue a career in medicine after doing various volunteer work. She received her MD from American University of Antigua, and through clinical rotations she found a joy and passion for family medicine. She attended residency here at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency Program. She is very passionate about preventative care, nutrition and fitness and loves working with patients to find balance and joy in developing a heathy lifestyle.
