Amanda Provencio, MD

Amanda Provencio, MD, was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she graduated from Mayfield Highschool, Go Trojans! She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma and attended Medical School at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. Dr. Provencio graduated medical school with honors, being inducted to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was selected at the recipient of the Gold-Headed Cane Award for her graduating class. Being passionate about serving the community she grew up in, Dr. Provencio returned home to complete her training here at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency program. Dr. Provencio is interested in full spectrum family medicine and is passionate about women’s and children’s health. She also enjoys adolescent medicine and preventative care. Working to understand the socioeconomic impacts of health on her patients, Dr. Provencio strives to improve their health, wellbeing, and overall success.
