Dr. Andrew Pike is a member of Family Medicine Residency faculty at CHRISTUS Health (CHRISTUS Health).
Dr Andrew Pike is a board certified, Orthopaedic Surgeon specialized in sports medicine. He is a distinguished graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado and obtained his medical degree from Georgetown University. Dr Pike completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard University. He is a decorated Air Force veteran, having deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Inherent Resolve in the Middle East and continues to serve in the United States Air Force Reserves.
Dr. Pike has general orthopaedic experience with subspecialty focus on knee and shoulder disorders. This includes knee joint preservation including malalignment, cartilage repair and ligament injuries. He also has significant experience treating complex shoulder injuries and degenerative conditions including instability, rotator cuff disease, and arthroplasty. Dr Pike has published articles in peer reviewed journals on knee instability and cartilage repair. He is double board certified in general orthopaedics and orthopaedic sports medicine. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North American, and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
