Patient Account Analyst
Department:
Physician Practice Manager
Position Description:
Post hospital charges for providers. Verify insurance. Post receipt of patient checks and or GL account. Research and make adjustments of incorrect posting or patient information. Post and send refund checks. Review and turn account over to collections. On secondary claims bill and file. Handle patient inquiries and send statements. Performs various miscellaneous clerical duties. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other related duties may be assigned.

The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED.
Experience:
Experience with Intergy/Medical Manager software preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience in a Physician’s office with knowledge of medical billing and insurance.
