Position Title: Student Extern or Graduate or CRT or RRT

Department:Ruidoso Sleep Center
Position Description: The Respiratory Graduate administers respiratory care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system under the direction of a physician and by prescription under control of a training supervisor. The Respiratory Graduate will receive age specific competency assessment until the training supervisor determines that the permittee is competent to perform specific respiratory care functions independently and in accordance with the safe practice and patient care safety standards of the facility. The Respiratory Graduate sets up and operates various types of equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases and/or illnesses. He/she is involved in acute, clinical and/or life-threatening patient care areas and situations. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.
