 | Education: | Prefer Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science/Information Systems. High school diploma preferred. A+, Netowrk+, CNE, MSP or MCSE certifiation a plus, but not required, will substitute for applicabnle experience. Should be very familiar with the following: Windows 2000 network operating system, Windows 2000 desktop operating system, TCP/IP networking protocols, capacity planning and performance tuning, disaster recovery planning and operations, Microsoft Exchange server, remote dial-up access. Should have basic knowledge of the following: Fast Ethernet local area networks; network hubs, switches, and routers (familiarity with 3 com products is preferred); CSU/DSU's modems; firewall hardware and software; RAID 5 and/or other storage backup technologies. Two years recent hand-on Windows 2000 technical support. Should be familiar with all aspects of Windows 2000 Advanced Server, including sytem installation, system repair, registry configuratin, Microsoft networking, IP networking. Should be familiar with remote support tools such as Dameware and job order tracking systems such as Track-It |
