Position Title: Catering Attendant

Department:Food & Nutrition (Dietary)
Position Description: Position responsible for preparation, set-up and breakdown of internal and external catered events. Position will include moderate food preparation. Position will require adherence with all policies as they relate to Joint Commission in relation to this Department. Position may perform duties in dish room and may include organization of Catering Room. Position is responsible for maintaining department customer service expectations. Position will be required to follow specific defined setup procedures as they relate to catering and the administering of such events. Schedule to be based on the needs of the facility. Off property events will be required. Responsibilities will also include interaction with Senior Management, Hospital Guests, Board Members, and other high level customers. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other related duties may be assigned. Currently we have one PRN position.

Days:Mon-Fri Sat/Sun
The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:High School Diploma or Equvalent
    Experience:Food Service Experience is desirable but not required.
    Special Skills:Must have the ability to read, speak and write in English. Duties as specified are not limited to other functions as they are assigned by Supervisor. Above average customer service skills are necessary. Above average attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
    Physical Requirements:Must pass a physical examination provided by the facility.
