Position Title: Assistant Director of Nursing Unit

Department:Perioperative Services
Position Description: The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting with twenty-four hour planning, special emphasis on Staff Development and Education, coordination of duties, and evaluation of clinical functions with the department. Functions as a clinical role model.
Status/Schedule:
Status:Exempt
The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Registered Nurse with licensure in the State of New Mexico. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred.
    Experience:Two years clinical experience, appropriate to area of responsibility.
    Special Skills: Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and computer knowledgeable. Demonstrates knowledge of clinical and managerial processes. Ability to apply systems theories to solutions. Ability to apply systems theories to solutions.
