Position Title: REGISTERED NURSE (RN)
Position Purpose:	Demonstrates proficiency and independence in the care of patients and their families/significant others by applying and documenting the nursing process; assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Consults with staff, physicians and management on nursing problems and interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. Continues to learn new skills and maintains clinical competency within the department to provide direct and safe patient care.
Minimum Qualifiactions:	Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred. Current New Mexico State Registered Nurse Licensure. Current BLS certification Able to communicate effectively in English. Additional languages preferred. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge.

Qualifications:

	Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Required:	UNIT Required ICU RN BLS within one month of employment. ACLS, TNCC within 6 months of employment. MCU RN BLS within one month of employment. NRP within 6 months of employment. M/S/T RN BLS within one month of employment. OR RN BLS within one month of employment. PACU RN BLS within one month of employment. ACLS, PALS within 6 months of employment. OCU RN BLS within one month of employment. Infusion RN BLS within one month of employment. Chemo within one year of employment. ED RN BLS within one month of employment. ACLS, PALS within 6 months of employment. TNCC within one year of employment. IPBH RN BLS within one month of employment. CPI within 6 months of employment. Joint Center R BLS within one month of employment. Rehab BLS within one month of employment.
	Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:	Basic computer knowledge.
