Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center Re-Dedicates Chapel

During the latest construction phase, the Chapel was relocated near the patient rooms. This new location will allow
patients and family members to have a place for meditation and prayer while not being so far from their loved ones. Nine chaplains
attended the dedication ceremony along with GCRMC's CEO, Jim Heckert. When the hospital was built in 1999, it was
the vision of Miriam Martin to have a chapel. Sevearl years later the chapel was dedicated in her honor and a plaque was hung in the
foyer. Miriam's son, Paul Martin and his wife Mary Lou were on hand for this dedication ceremony of the new chapel.
