Position Title: Intake and Assessment Outreach Coordinator

Position Purpose:To provide a coordinated community outreach and assessment service for the Program. To coordinate the education and community relations activities of the treatment staff. To develop strategies that result in a positive community image and assists the facility in meeting its goals. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifiactions: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field desired. State Licensure as Professional Social Worker / Counselor or Registered Nurse preferred. Requires access to transportation.
Qualifications:
Experience Requriements:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the behavioral health field. Clinical experience sufficient to perform required assessment services.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Required:State Licensure as Professional Social Worker / Counselor or Registered Nurse preferred
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Knowledge of or experience in mental health or chemical dependency fields; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; ability to adapt to workload demands and set priorities; positive, professional presentation; ability to build rapport quickly and develop working relationships; ability to work cooperatively with the program staff; good communication and organizational skills.
