Position Title: Financial Analyst
Position Purpose:	Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for the financial analysis of hospital indicators, the preparation of a daily dashboard, measurement of performance against past organizational data and local, regional and national benchmarks, financial projections, preparation of pro-forma analysis of potential capital or project investments, ROI analysis, analysis of labor productivity, utilization of the cost accounting system, gathering of cost report data, assist in budget preparation and other duties as may be required. Minimum Qualifiactions:	The qualifications/position requirements identified below list the skill level, ability and knowledge required to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. Bachelors Degree with Accounting Major Understanding of Cost Accounting Principals

Qualifications:

	Experience Requriements:	Understanding of Cost Accounting Principals Experience desirable in working with Medicare, Medicaid and other third party reimbursement systems. Previous financial analysis experience of at least 2 years required. Other than hospital experience may be considered.
	Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Required:
	Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:	Requires critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze and compute numbers. Must be able to coordinate and perform multiple projects simultaneously. Strong knowledge of Excel and charting is a requirement and at least a basic knowledge of Word and Access databases. Self motivated ability to work independently on projects with emphasis on planning, analytical, and organizational skills.
