Emergency Room
The emergency department of GCRMC is a 24 hour level three trauma center. The department is staffed by physicians , Mid- level providers nurses technicians; supported by a full service CAP certified laboratory and a state of the art diagnostic imaging department. On- sit Air transport. Hospitalist are available to meet the need of patients without a primary care physicians.

The emergency room nurses are all ACLS and trauma nurse certified.
Our emergency department take pleasure in serving the community as the coordinator for the Safe Kids Program, providing helmets and car seats for children through out the community.


This event provided DWI awareness training on the hazards of drinking and driving for Alamogordo High School prior to prom night.

The philosophy of the emergency department is that we take care of our friends and neighbors every day. When the unexpected happens we want them to take comfort in their emergency department.
