Welcome to the exciting world of Diagnostic Imagery at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center. Our modern facility covers a veriety of diagnostic modalities such as CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Regular X-ray, and our newest addition Echo Cardiogram.
Each of these modalities has highly trained and friendly technicians who are always more than willing to answer all your questions. Each modality is located in a private suite.
On the average about 3,684 procedures are done each month in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. Don't worry, though, about getting an appointment. The Diagnostic Imaging Staff works very hard at getting patients scheduled for their exams in a timely manner, and many of the regular x-ray procedures are done on a walk-in basis. The Diagnostic Imaging department is staffed 24 hours for emergencies and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for routine x-rays and scheduled procedures. To schedule an appointment or get information, call (505) 443-7700.
If you need to pick up your films to take to a doctor's appointment, we need at least 24 to 48 hours notification to get them ready, so you won't have to wait. Just call the main phone number for Diagnostic Imaging at (505) 443-7700, and one of our helpful support staff will take down your information.
