 Position Title: Clinical Educator
|
| Position Purpose: | Under general supervision, provides day-to-day staff, logistical, and administrative assistance to the Education Department. Provides nursing and patient education. Schedules appointments, screens and refers phone calls, and communicates and interacts with staff and patients. Participates in educational programs for staff, patients and the community. Assists with the duties of the Infection Control/Employee Health Nurse as delegated. Other related duties as assigned. |
| Minimum Qualifiactions: | Knowledge of planning and scheduling techniques.
Demonstrates skills in clerical duties.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications – word processing and computer spreadsheets.
Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. |
 | Experience Requriements: | Five + years nursing experiences. |
| Certificates, Licenses and Registrations Required: | BLS Instructor certified or certification obtained within twelve months of hire. |
| Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: | Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Knowledge of clinical facilities and equipment.
Ability to supervise and train assigned staff. |
