I am privileged to have the opportunity to serve as the CEO of Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center. I am still considered a new member of the team and this awesome community, however, the welcome I have received makes me feel like I have been here for years. I am pleased to work with some of the best physicians of my career right here in Alamogordo.
I have a staff of over 700 caring and supportive employees. Our technologists are experienced and well trained. Many of our nurses are seeking advanced degrees and we have a six-month mentoring program for graduate nurses that set the standard throughout New Mexico.
It is obvious that I am proud of my staff and the medical staff that support this hospital and the community. However, none of us could do our jobs if it were not for you, our patients, placing your trust in us each day to care for you and the people you love.
I have a positive vision for GCRMC. We will have our share of tough times that we share with other health care facilities but this is a strong organization and we are committed to exceeding in quality and service. Our foundation is rooted in the commitment of this community. Our future is in our vision for the community and having the wisdom to make difficult but correct decisions. We are your hospital and it is our privilege to serve you.
