Position Description: To perform as part of the Laboratory team, under the supervision of the Laboratory Clinical Supervisor. To collect, perform and result chemical tests on body fluids and specimens from patients, in order to provide accurate information to clinicians for diagnosis and prevention of diseases. To oversee Section operations and insure compliance with Laboratory safety and regulatory standards. This description is not intended to be a complete list of duties. Other related duties may be assigned.

The above wage range reflects the minimum, midpoint and maximum hourly rate for this position. New employees are hired between the minimum and midpoint of this range. The initial wage offered will be based on qualifications and experience.

    Qualifications:
    Education:Must be nationally registered as equivalent to Medical Technologist, ASCP. Must satisfactorily complete department orientation on file. Must be registered in Medical Laboratory Science by ASCP, ASMT, AMT, HHS, ISCLT, AAB, NCA, etc.
    License Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
